CRYPTOGRAPHY NOTICE 

The Zen-mode Solutions include cryptographic software. The country in which you currently reside may have restrictions on the import, possession, use, and/or re-export to another country, of encryption software. BEFORE using any encryption software, please check your country's laws, regulations and policies concerning the import, possession, or use, and re-export of encryption software, to see if this is permitted. The U.S. Government Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), has classified this type of software as Export Commodity Control Number (ECCN) 5D002.C.1, which includes information security software using or performing cryptographic functions with asymmetric algorithms. The form and manner of the different Zen-mode Solutions makes them eligible for export under the License Exception ENC Technology Software Unrestricted (TSU) exception (see the BIS Export Administration Regulations, Section 740.13) for both object code and source code.

The Bad News: Five Eyes Countries: Stateside privacy problems
 

Unlike most countries in the world (most specifically all Five eyes Countries) Finland still has a sane ICT (Information and Communications Technology) privacy laws. For countries that have Patriot Act-like laws in place the rules are quite different:

The good news: Finnish Information Society Code
 

In Finland we still have sane ICT laws. The authorities must have proper warrents and proceed with the normal procedure when attemping to access personal or company data. Shortly put: Your data is still safe here.

Unilateral non-disclosure agreement: When hiring employee or contractor

  • A unilateral non-disclosure agreement is a contract in which one party agrees not to disclose certain information of another.

    Example: via signing a unilateral NDA Zen-mode is making sure that our business secrets stay secret when hiring a employee or contractor.

Mutual non-disclosure agreement: Between Zen-mode and it's customer(s)

  • A Mutual non-disclosure agreement is when both parties agree to not share the other's information.

    Example: mutual NDA's are signed when two businesses share protected communication (when becoming a Zen-mode customer).
